At Sacred Hearts we are here to assist you in the development of your child’s Catholic Faith. Our Religious Education classes are just one of the tools that help foster a relationship with Jesus. You are your child’s first teacher in the Catholic faith! It is important that in conjunction with our Religious Education program that you are praying with your children, taking them to Mass and the Sacraments regularly, and being a good example to them are the most important ways to set them on the path to Meet, Know, Love and Serve Christ.
Our Religious Education classes meet during the traditional school year. We ask that all students be signed up before attending a class. Classes begin early October. To register, please see our online registration form.

Sacramental Preparation
Traditionally, First Communion and First Reconciliation occur during a student's second grade year. Our diocese asks us to ensure that students are enrolled in religious education for one full year prior to seeking a sacrament. Confirmation will be celebrated in the spring of ninth grade (or later, if the student is not ready). All students K - 9 should be enrolled in parish catechetical programs. Please, see our 1st Reconcilation & Communion or Confirmation page for details.
