WORKSHOP FOR NEW EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION

Are you looking for a way to serve our parish in a liturgical ministry? One way is to distribute Holy Communion during Mass. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must be Catholics in good standing who have been confirmed and are at least 16 years old. In the Diocese of Madison it is also mandatory for Extraordinary Ministers to receive training at a diocesan workshop, in addition to training from their parish.

A diocesan workshop for new Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be held here at Sacred Hearts on Thursday, August 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Participants are asked to register with the diocesan Office of Worship in advance; to register, please e-mail amy.yanzer@madisondioc... or call (608) 821-3080. Include your name, parish and city, the date and location of the workshop you are attending, and a phone number and e-mail address where you may be reached.
