During our first 3 years of hosting this event (2018, 2019 & 2021), we have been so blessed with a great response from our bakers and shoppers alike! We hope to make this year’s event another great fundraising opportunity to support our Youth Ministry’s participation at Frassati Fest – enjoy tasty treats and share some holiday spirit!
If you've missed it in the past, you may be asking “What are we talking about?!”
A Cookie Walk is kinda’ like a bake sale – only focused on shareable Christmas treats. Shoppers can walk the cookie tables, fill a container with ones you can’t pass up, and we’ll sell cookies by the pound! Our first 3 years showcased an amazing assortment of cookies from our talented parishioners - and we can't wait to see what people will be baking up this year!
BAKERS: Please use the Sign-up Genius to list the type and quantity of confection you intend to bring. This will give us and other bakers some idea on what is going to be available. VARIETY is very important!
Sign-up Genius is now OPEN!what the cookie walk is really all about...
Our Youth!
Thank you to everyone who supported the Cookie Walk in December 2021 through donations and shopping! The funds generated from the event supported 14 youth from our parish who recently attended Frassati Fest, a Diocesan Youth Retreat in the Wisconsin Dells. These teens encountered Christ through fellowship, prayer and the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Mass. We are grateful to Paul Jozwiak for coordinating our parish’s participation in the retreat, to our own Sophia Monforte and Francis Kelly for their efforts with the Frassati Fest planning team and to Margaret Powers for organizing the Cookie Walk to benefit this amazing retreat! God Bless you all for your continued support of Sacred Hearts Youth!
